As part of Afro Comic Con, Academy of Art University moderator Bobby Brill of Creative Mind, the Academy’s official podcast, invites concept artist/illustrator Jordan McCreacken-Foster to share how he designs a character from start to finish. In this workshop, Jordan demonstrates how he uses reference boards, thumbnails, color, and other storytelling techniques to spark ideas for creating a character.
