Human In Nature a short film by Ilias Kyriakidis
Final Presentation for Sociology 103.
This is an experimental short film about the legacy and scientific accomplishments surrounding Berkeley. The film asks questions regarding environmental ethics and human rights, the scientific community’s relationship with discoveries that endanger Earth and the human species. I explore themes of dualism between the environment and human, in the eyes of a religious man who challenges the way of life in light of these accomplishments. We all know the values which Berkeley stands for and represents yet the environmentally ethical questions regarding discovery and innovation will continue to exist through the eyes and reputations of the community’s brilliant people.
