Top performing 2019 KCSE candidate fails to secure public university slot

A top performing candidate in 2019 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education has been devastated by failure to secure a slot at a public university. The 19-year-old Collins Mwangi, performed excellently when he scored a B+ becoming one of the top ten candidates albeit living with disability. He is concerned that his dream to pursue Bachelor of Medicine may not come to pass.
