During the pandemic, the physical facilities of many libraries were fully or partially closed. As we consider how those closures impacted physical spaces that served digital scholarship teams, makers, media producers, and others, how should it influence our thinking for the future? What was lost when face-to-face consultations and in-person teamwork were not possible? Currently, what kinds of projects can be transitioned fully online easily if circumstances lead to closing physical facilities? What is not possible at present? In addition, what teaching and learning needs will libraries be asked to support, for example hyflex classrooms or private Zoom rooms for students on campus participating in online classes? Panelists will provide a range of perspectives on these issues.
