Quantum computing will have a massive impact on the future – the potential leaps in physics, chemistry and materials science; promising solutions to complex mathematical problems; the production of more energy-efficient batteries; and better carbon-related technologies to combat climate change. This session will focus on the present and future of quantum computing, its prospects and challenges, and explore how powerful computing will trigger a new paradigm shift in science.
